My parents named me marc, well actually as my mother loved reading I ended up with the name Marc Antony Bartolo, pretty Italian isn‘t it, but it is actually Maltese. I am a Canadian born photographer who started photographing 40 years ago. I have lived in 4 different countries and have made Bergstraße, Hessen, Germany home for many years now. My passion is people photography, the emotons, the movement, character, charisma, and the beauty in people is what I wish to capture when I am photographing. I want my photography to talk about you as photography should speak its story, photography should take you into the moment & the person when the shot was taken. It holds every moment as a memory and when you look at the photos you should relive the moment, be it a wedding, an business event, a gig/concert, a personal celebration, family, you and a friend, or just you.
How I work? I work with absolute passion, with people I am easy to get along with and you are my focus, the person who you are, the wishes you have, your interests, the things that make you dance. I take the time to meet you and get to know you as I do not wish to deliver factory type photography. I want to, as I like to say, „dance with the people“ I photograph, may sound strage but it is has to do with feeling the moment and translating it into beautiful imagery. You will feel my passion, the fun I have when I am photographing, and I take great care looking into the details of light, shadows, perspective, colours, forms, backgrounds, and the other details that either make or break a photo so that have stunning photos that live your memories.
